Red Hook Jazz Festival - From 2008- 2013 Jazz is Alive in Brooklyn

Red Hook Jazz Festival 2013
big bang productions presents the RED HOOK JAZZ FESTIVAL 2013 on two consecutive Sundays, June 9 and June 16 in the Urban Meadow. Each year the RHJF attracts hundreds of listeners for jazz in the sunshine!  All event details below.

The Red Hook Jazz Festival prides itself on being a homegrown jazz festival featuring an amazing line-up of mostly local talent. The RHJF is an all-volunteer event proud to support a wide variety of superb figures in New York City and Brooklyn jazz, both young and old. The RHJF has truly developed a tradition of presenting great music with a laid back vibe, an outdoor setting, and a strong family-friendly focus (children have always attended free of charge), while striving to develop the next generation of jazz audiences.  For a taste of what the RHJF is all about see the great piece about last year's RHJF from the New York Times here.
This year the RHJF is proud to announce a grant award from the Brooklyn Arts Council as well as continued support from our local sponsor, the House of Pizza & Calzone, and the Urban Meadow, the venue of RHJF shows since 2008.
Both days start at 1pm and end at 6pm. Entrance is $10 per adult/children attend free. The Urban Meadow is located at the corner of President & Van Brunt Streets in Brooklyn, NY.  See below for the full event schedule and click here for directions to the Urban Meadow.
